Grant Description

The Tourism Events Grants support the development and growth of tourism-focused events in the Rural City of Wangaratta by providing up to $5,000 for marquee and major events and up to $2,000 for minor events. The program is designed to attract visitors, enhance Wangaratta as a holiday destination, and create economic benefits for the local community. It prioritises new and early-stage events with potential to become financially viable, while aligning with Council’s tourism strategies and supporting culture, arts, local food, produce, and business promotion.
