Grants aren’t a secret - they’re a strategy. But without the right structure, most people burn out chasing the wrong ones, saying the wrong things, or missing deadlines altogether.
That’s why we built the Get Grant’d Bootcamp: to equip fundraisers, founders and grant seekers with the exact system that’s helped secure over $100 million in grants for businesses, charities and changemakers just like you.

in grants secured and still counting
Did you know there is over $100B of grant funding available in Australia, and it’s there for the taking…
However, if you’ve ever tried to go it alone, you will know the process is costly, lengthy and downright hard.
A huge amount of effort is being wasted on grant applications that are started but never completed, and 38% of grant seekers in Australia fail to meet application deadlines.
We guide you on:
We help you get your share.

Our next Bootcamp kicks off on Monday 1 September and doors are now open.
Proven Track record Since launching in May 2020 125 change makers have trusted us to guide them, and we’ve helped them secure $35M+ in grants, and counting.
Our program meets you where you are and takes you to where you need to be without the price tag of an outsourced Grant Strategist.
You won’t go it alone; you will join a network of business and charity founders, social enterprises, not-for-profits, and fundraisers.
Avoid reactive approaches and build a lasting, strategic foundation for grants, setting you up for long-term success.
• You could fast track your journey to the next stage of business
• You could scale your mission, business and projects
• You could hire new team members to fuel your growth
• You’d be able to invest in marketing, research and more
And even better than all this, you’d finally be able to make the impact you’ve been dreaming about for so long.
* As a disclaimer, grants aren’t free money, but when you learn the art of successful grant writing and management it can surely feel this way!
“Janine is a person you do not meet often, she is driven, switched on, full of innovative ideas and solutions, which has been a tornado of fresh air and energy for our organisation.” – Alice, CEO Refugee Migrant Children’s Centre (RMCC)
Janine Owen is the visionary behind Grant’d, with over two decades of experience in grants and fundraising. Throughout her career, she has led transformative strategies for some of the world’s most impactful charities, always driven by the belief that funding should be accessible and straightforward.
Janine’s deep expertise in grant-seeking and her passion for social good have culminated in the creation of Grant’d, a platform designed to bridge the gap between innovators and the funding they need. Her mission is clear: to simplify the grant process so that change-makers can focus on what they do best—changing the world.
We kick things off by busting the biggest myths about grants and unpacking where they really fit into your funding strategy. You’ll learn about the different types of funders (government, corporate, council, and foundation), what they’re looking for, and how to assess if you’re ready to apply.
We’ll help you clarify your elevator pitch, understand eligibility, and avoid the common traps that waste time and effort. Whether you’re new to grants or refining your approach, this week gives you the clarity and confidence to move forward with purpose.
This week is all about preparation – what it really means to be grant-ready. You’ll work through the essentials: refining your mission, understanding your values, and building the foundation funders expect to see.
We’ll guide you through what great documentation looks like, how to outline a compelling project plan, and how to assess your team, systems, and capacity. You’ll also create your own “Grant Ready” checklist and action plan, so you know exactly what to prioritise.
You’ll finish Week Two with more than insight. You’ll have a clear, practical roadmap for confidently moving toward your first (or next) grant application.
This week is all about building a grant strategy that aligns with your bigger vision and positions you for long-term success.
You’ll learn how to map your funding needs directly to your organisational / business goals and create your personalised Funding Strategy. We’ll help you define your funding pillars, identify the role grants should play in your overall funding mix, and begin crafting your targeted “sweet spot” pitch for future applications.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a practical, big-picture plan for how grants fit into your broader growth strategy plus a clear action path to start implementing.
This week, we focus on using data to strengthen your grant applications and your credibility.
You’ll learn how to support your story with the right statistics, evidence, and insights across every part of your grant proposal: from demonstrating the need for your work to proving your ability to deliver. We’ll explore how to find the right data sources, build a powerful “fast facts” sheet, and create a budget that funders trust.
You’ll also start using our Grants Tracker to stay organised and ready to apply when the timing is right.
Because the truth is: good storytelling gets attention but data secures funding.
This week is all about taking everything you’ve built so far – your story, data, budget, and strategy, and crafting it into a clear, compelling grant application.
You’ll learn how to write with clarity and confidence, structure your responses effectively, and connect the dots between the funding body’s goals and your project’s potential. We’ll show you what great storytelling looks like in a grant context, how to merge data with narrative, and how to present a case for funding that’s both credible and inspiring.
Importantly, we’ll also explore the role of AI in modern grant writing. What tools and how to use to help you brainstorm ideas, draft dot points faster, and edit for clarity or tone. But just as important as using AI is understanding how to use it ethically and impact fully: to amplify your voice, not replace it!
You’ll walk away with:
A repeatable process for writing standout applications
Writing frameworks and prompts to overcome blank-page syndrome
A checklist to ensure your submission is funder-ready
Guidance on how to co-write with AI, while keeping your story human
Because when human insight meets smart tools, the process becomes not only easier, but more powerful.
Let’s get writing and winning!
This week is all about pulling it all together. You’ve done the work now it’s time to integrate everything you’ve learned and look ahead.
We’ll help you reflect on your progress, clarify your next steps, and build a grantseeking rhythm that works for you long after the Bootcamp ends. You’ll have the space to ask questions, workshop real challenges, and get personalised support in our open Q&A session.
And of course we’ll take a moment to celebrate how far you’ve come.
Because this isn’t the end. It’s just the beginning of a more confident, strategic, and successful approach to grants.
Let’s finish strong and set you up for long-term impact.
The 6-week intensive mentoring and education program is designed for change-makers to master the art of becoming strategic grant seekers by finding and writing winning grant applications, helping them secure the funds needed to make a significant impact. This is not a one-trick program; it’s about building lasting strategies you can use time and time again.Â
But it comes at an accessible cost that growing organisations can access.
Our Bootcamp is designed for charities, non-profits, and businesses committed to positively impacting the world. It’s perfect for those with a clear vision, a willingness to work hard, and a desire to learn the intricacies of grant acquisition. Ideally, this Bootcamp delivers the best results when there is already momentum in the business or charity.Â
If you are an early-stage business or you are ideation stage, feel free to contact us to see if this is the right program for you.Â
Â
Absolutely! Whether you’re just starting out or have previous experience, our program covers every aspect of the grant application process. Our tailored approach ensures everyone leaves feeling confident in securing grants. Doing the heavy lifting and developing your strategy before you put pen to paper on a grant application is the best way to go, so when you are ready to apply for a grant, you are being proactive, not reactive.Â
The Bootcamp kicks off on Monday 1 September, 2025 and runs until  Friday 10 October, 2025
The early bird promotion ends midnight  15 August, 2025
The Bootcamp combines live sessions, interactive workshops, and supplemental pre-recorded content to provide a comprehensive learning experience.Â
Specifically;
Thursdays at 11am (AEST). Once we have our cohort finalised we may change this time if there is a general consensus for a different day / time.
We look for participants who are revenue-generating or close to it or those who have experience in successful ventures. It’s essential to have a clear project or idea in mind that requires funding. Basically, those who join need to be understanding of and realistic that grants are not an overnight solution and will not keep their lights on. This is for those who value the concept of planning and are willing to work towards their goals.
Not sure if you’re ready, then please get in touch with Janine today for a free 15-minute chat.Â
