Tasmanian Artist Residency

Grant Description

The Lutruwita (Tasmanian) Regional Artist Residency, delivered annually by Performing Lines TAS and supported by the Tasmanian Government through Arts Tasmania, provides a fully subsidised three-day, two-night creative retreat in a regional Tasmanian setting. It supports emerging, mid-career and senior performing-arts practitioners from across Lutruwita/Tasmania to test new ideas, develop professional practice and build networks under the guidance of both local and national mentors (including dedicated First Nations mentors). Participants only pay a small refundable deposit to cover weekend expenses, ensuring inclusivity and capacity building for the sector.
