Grant Description

The Infrastructure Grant equips Victorian LGAs to construct Safe System–aligned pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure on local roads; provides up to $100,000 (ex. GST) with a mandatory 1:1 council contribution; benefits communities by installing measures that reduce crash likelihood and severity; and focuses on built treatments such as wombat crossings, shared-use paths and separated cycle lanes under the Victorian Road Safety Strategy 2021–2030.
