Grant Description
This NSW Government program provides small grants to maximise STEM education opportunities for NSW high school students from under-represented groups by enabling participation in eligible STEM competitions, events and academic courses held in Australia or overseas between January and June 2026. Round 1 offers a total pool of $50,000 (ex GST), with individual grants of $2,500 (domestic) to $5,000 (international) per student and up to $10,000 per team. The program targets students experiencing financial hardship, from low socio-economic, regional or remote backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, students living with disability and others needing support, with a focus on building skills, aspirations and pathways in STEM.
