Grant Description

The School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI) aims to narrow the digital divide and improve educational opportunities by providing up to 30,000 eligible families with school-age children a free NBN home internet service. The service is funded by a $13.7 million investment from the Australian Government in partnership with NBN Co and is available until 30 June 2028. The initiative targets families without an active NBN service, prioritising school engagement and digital inclusion.
