Grant Description
The Rural Landholder Recovery Grant Scheme provides rebates of up to $10,000 to assist rural landholders in the North and Far North Queensland disaster-affected areas following the Tropical Low event between 29 January and 28 February 2025. Funded jointly by the Australian and Queensland Governments, the scheme aims to alleviate landholder distress, repair damage, and reduce hazards by supporting the clean-up and reinstatement of primary production enterprises directly impacted by the disaster. This $2.4 million program targets eligible landholders whose properties are not covered by insurance or Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
