Grant Description

The Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship Scheme honours the legacy of Dr Arnold ‘Puggy’ Hunter by empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to pursue entry-level undergraduate qualifications in health. It offers up to $15,000 per annum (full-time) or $7,500 per annum (part-time) for the normal duration of the course, alongside cultural, mentoring and other student supports, administered through Indigenous Allied Health Australia, NAATSIHWP and the Rural Doctors Network under Commonwealth funding.
