Grant Description
The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant provides financial resources to professional visual artists—painters, sculptors and artists who work on paper—to create new work, acquire supplies, rent studio space, prepare for exhibitions, attend residencies and offset living expenses. Established in 1985 by Lee Krasner, the Foundation has awarded over 5,100 grants totalling more than USD 90 million. Grants are awarded on a one-year basis with amounts determined by each artist’s individual circumstances, up to USD 50,000 (approx. AUD 77,570) and applications are accepted on a rolling basis with a typical review period of nine to twelve months.
