Grant Description
The PhD Top-up Scholarship is part of the Strategic Priority Program – Capacity Building, jointly funded by the Future Health Research and Innovation Fund and Cancer Council WA to support a highly ranked PhD student in Western Australia who has strong potential to contribute significantly to cancer research. It supports biomedical, clinical and health research related to the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer, across areas such as laboratory, clinical, epidemiological, psychosocial and behavioural science. The scholarship provides up to $48,000 over up to four years full-time, with funding intended for eligible PhD students already holding an RTP stipend or equivalent.
