Grant Description

The Performance Achievement Grant provides financial assistance to residents of the Mackay Regional Council area participating in State, National or International Sporting, Arts and Culture, or STEAM competitions held outside the Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac regions. The program supports individuals and teams by offsetting costs such as levies, registrations, uniforms, travel and related expenses, offering up to $800 per event and a maximum of $1,300 per financial year to foster talent development and support representation at higher-level competitions.
