Grant Description

The aim of the New Destination Events Program is to support new social, cultural, industry and sporting events for the purpose of attracting overnight visitation from outside the region which will deliver economic benefits to the Western Downs (Excludes GST). The program aligns with the character and culture of the region and demonstrates sound organisational planning. Grants range from $5,000 to $20,000 to facilitate various events that foster tourism and economic growth.
