Grant Description
The Network of Digital Mentors Program is an Australian Government initiative designed to improve digital inclusion outcomes for First Nations Australians living in remote and very remote communities. The program provides up to $18,000,000 (GST exclusive) until 30 June 2027 to establish and deliver a culturally safe “train the mentor” model that supports First Nations Digital Mentors to build digital literacy, online safety awareness, telecommunications access, and digital confidence within communities. The initiative aligns with Closing the Gap Target 17 and supports improved access to essential online services, emerging technologies, Digital ID systems, and connectivity support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
