The Mick Dark Fellowship for Environmental Writing is awarded in memory of Mick Dark, who bequeathed Varuna House to Australian writers. This fellowship provides a three-week residency at Varuna for an outstanding Environmental Writing project, offering full board, accommodation, and a private writing studio. The fellowship also includes a $350 travel subsidy for writers located more than 300 km away from Varuna.
