Grant Description
The Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub Grant funds the establishment of a comprehensive mental health and wellbeing hub for children aged 0-12 in the ACT, also supporting their families, carers, and kin. The grant provides up to $2,450,000 (GST exclusive) annually for two years, with the possibility of extension. The service focuses on delivering flexible, multidisciplinary supports for children’s mild, moderate, and emerging mental health needs, prioritising accessible, evidence-informed and culturally safe care, with an emphasis on vulnerable cohorts including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, CALD backgrounds, and those experiencing social or economic disadvantage.
