Grant Description

The Lord Mayor’s Safer Suburbs Grants programme provides up to $10,000 in funding to incorporated not-for-profit organisations leasing community facilities from Brisbane City Council, enabling them to implement safety and security measures—such as CCTV installation, new locks, security screens, fencing and improved external lighting—to deter crime and strengthen community safety. Applicants must be financially viable, hold appropriate workplace health and safety policies and $20 million public liability insurance, and demonstrate capacity to maintain completed works.
