Grant Description
The LGBTIQA+ Health Program – Round 1 is an Australian Government-funded competitive grant program that supports LGBTIQA+ community-led organisations, and in some cases eligible generalist organisations working in formal partnership with LGBTIQA+ community-led organisations, to deliver or expand health and wellbeing services that are inclusive, culturally sound and responsive to LGBTIQA+ communities. The program supports initiatives aligned with the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025–2035, especially preventive health, health literacy, and safer, more accessible healthcare. Funding ranges up to $150,000 over 12 months or $300,000 over 24 months for smaller organisations, and up to $750,000 over 24 months for medium-to-large organisations, with a total program pool of $11.939 million to 2027–2028.
