Grant Description
The Kimberley Juvenile Justice Strategy (KJJS) Small Grants program provides funding of up to $40,000 per project to support short-term, community-led initiatives in the Kimberley region of Western Australia that engage Aboriginal young people in culturally safe activities aimed at preventing involvement in the criminal justice system. Delivered by the Department of Justice as part of the government’s response to the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, the program prioritises Aboriginal-led solutions and supports projects that strengthen community capacity, address immediate youth risks, and deliver practical initiatives that stabilise and support young people at risk of offending.
