Grant Description

The HSANZ New Investigator Clinical Fellowship for 2026, funded by the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand, provides up to two medical graduates with one-year clinical or laboratory placements at acknowledged Centres of Excellence in Australia, New Zealand or overseas. Each fellowship is valued at $70,000 and is aimed at advancing haematology practice by enabling final-year trainees or clinicians within five years of FRACP/FRCPA training to acquire new skills. Successful fellows must report outcomes to the HSANZ Council and present their findings at the Blood Annual Scientific Meeting.
