Grant Description
The Harris Family Foundation provides grants to support the immediate and long‑term needs of Australian not‑for‑profit organisations, typically serving Victorians, in the areas of troubled youth, homelessness, disability services, health and medical research, and animal welfare and environmental conservation. Since its establishment in 2001, the Foundation has donated over $35 million to community causes, operating with a strategic, collaborative approach to maximise impact. Grants generally range from $10,000 to $100,000, with any larger awards considered on a special‑merits basis and by invitation only. The Foundation seeks to forge enduring partnerships, enabling grantees to build capacity, innovate solutions and foster sustainable outcomes for those experiencing disadvantage.
