Games Development Program – Production and Release

Grant Description

This program provides recoupable grants of up to $50,000 per game-production project to Tasmanian development or production companies whose projects are production-ready with clearly quantified end-user markets and revenue streams. Successful applicants receive up to 50 per cent of development costs (including in-kind) and ongoing support from Screen Tasmania’s Business and Production Manager and Development Manager throughout creative development, packaging and financing. Funding is recouped at 25 per cent of revenue (plus a 10 per cent premium) only once the finished game generates sales; there is no recoupment if a project does not earn revenue.
