Grant Description
The Flexible Funding Grants (FFG) support locally led projects that improve the preparedness and resilience of vulnerable people, families, communities and organisations affected by declared disasters in Queensland. A capped total of $6,745,000 is available across targeted disaster events and Local Government Areas (LGAs), with per-application caps of up to $3,800,000 (Tropical Cyclone Jasper), $2,375,000 (South Queensland Severe Storms and Rainfall), $427,500 (Southern Queensland Bushfires) and $142,500 (Northern Queensland Bushfires). Beneficiaries include non-government organisations and local councils delivering initiatives that strengthen person-centred emergency preparedness, disaster preparedness and business continuity, and social services capacity building in impacted LGAs.
