Grant Description
The Environment program supports ambitious, transformative, on-ground conservation initiatives that protect and restore nature in response to climate change and biodiversity loss, with a focus on landscape and ecosystem resilience across land, freshwater, marine and coastal areas. Grants are large ($100,000+), usually multi-year, and there is no published maximum; projects of national significance that are collaborative and can scale or inform policy are prioritised. Intended beneficiaries are Australia’s high-biodiversity-value places, rare/threatened ecosystems and species, and the communities engaged in their stewardship.
