Grant Description
The Community Heritage Grants (CHG) program supports community-based organisations across Australia to identify, assess and preserve nationally significant, moveable cultural heritage collections that are publicly accessible. Managed by the National Library of Australia on behalf of Australian Government partners, the program offers grants of up to $20,000 (including GST) per project to assist small and least-resourced organisations, particularly volunteer-run, Indigenous, multicultural, rural and remote groups, to undertake significance assessments, preservation needs assessments, conservation activities and collection management capacity building.
