Grant Description
The TAFE Centre of Excellence Clean Energy Batteries Applied Research Grants Round 1 offers up to $200,000 per project (minimum $50,000) from a total pool of $1,000,000 to support collaborative applied research partnerships between TAFE, industry, universities and community organisations across Australia; it aims to generate evidence-based solutions to enhance vocational education and training, drive innovation and sustainability in the clean energy battery sector, and build workforce capacity—particularly benefiting educators, researchers, students and under-represented groups including First Nations peoples—through focused streams on pedagogical innovation, industry-led research and targeted themes such as battery end-of-life management, regional skills development and AI-enabled battery technologies.
