Grant Description
The CEW Bean Prize for Military History is a biennial award that recognises outstanding Honours, Masters, and PhD theses submitted to any Australian university focusing on Australian military history. Named after Charles Edwin Woodrow Bean, the prize aims to foster military history research at the tertiary level. It includes a $500 cash prize, an inscribed medallion, return airfares for the winner to attend the 2025 Chief of Army History Conference, and presentation of the award at the conference dinner.
