Building Blocks Grants – Capacity Building

Grant Description

The Building Blocks Capacity Building Grant supports Victorian local governments, not-for-profit community organisations and non-government schools to increase kindergarten capacity through new or expanded Three- and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten (Pre-Prep) infrastructure. With grants scaled to the number of new places created, funding now doubles previous rates, offering up to $9 000 000 for major integrated centres. This investment benefits children and families by addressing unmet demand, promoting integrated children’s services, and underpinning the Best Start, Best Life reforms to deliver universal 15 hours of Three-Year-Old Kindergarten by 2029 and 30 hours of Pre-Prep by 2036.
