Grant Description
The Tweed Shire Council Biodiversity Grants program provides in-kind support to landholders, incorporated community groups, and researchers for projects that conserve and restore biodiversity across Tweed Shire. Instead of direct cash payments, Council offers materials, services, technical advice, and ongoing project management to support ecological outcomes. The program focuses on rehabilitating degraded habitats, restoring cleared areas, recovering threatened species, and addressing key threatening processes, with the overarching aim of protecting the region’s nationally and internationally recognised biodiversity.
