Grant Description

The Apprentice Tool Allowance provides apprentices and trainees a reimbursement for the purchase of work-related tools and/or safety equipment at the commencement and completion of training. Eligible apprentices and trainees can receive up to $1,000 reimbursement for purchases made at the start and another $1,000 at the completion of their apprenticeship or traineeship. This program supports apprentices and trainees in the construction industry starting or finishing between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2029.
