Apprentice Support Bonus

Grant Description

The Apprentice Support Bonus provides an annual payment to eligible apprentices and trainees on each anniversary of their commencement date (for anniversaries falling after 1 July 2024), supporting those undertaking CTF-funded trade qualifications in Western Australia. This initiative recognises the financial challenges of vocational training and aims to boost retention and completion rates by rewarding progress. Total claimable amounts range up to $3,000 over the life of a standard four-year apprenticeship. The program runs until 30 June 2028, with final claims accepted through 30 June 2029, and is part of CTF’s broader suite of support measures to strengthen WA’s skilled trades workforce.
