Grant Description
The ACT Prototyping Voucher Pilot is a $160,000 ACT Government initiative designed to accelerate product development by providing Canberra-based innovators and early-stage businesses with vouchers of up to $10,000 to access leading prototyping facilities and technical expertise at ANU, CIT, UC and UNSW Canberra. Recipients transform design-ready concepts (TRL 1–4) into physical prototypes, working alongside specialist engineers and technicians to refine materials, manufacturing processes and functional testing. By lowering the cost and complexity barriers to prototyping, the program empowers local entrepreneurs to de-risk innovations, demonstrate proof-of-concept to potential investors or partners, and lay the foundation for commercialisation and sustainable growth within the ACT innovation ecosystem.
