Grant Description

The 2025 NHMRC-GACD grant opportunity funds implementation research aimed at strengthening health systems to improve equity and quality of care for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) or among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia. The total funding allocation is $5 million AUD, with no set minimum or maximum per grant. Projects must contribute to Sustainable Development Goal 3.4 by addressing system-wide strategies that improve care delivery, reduce health disparities, and support evidence-informed policy and practice.
