Grant Description
The Leaving Violence Program, commencing on 1 July 2025, is an Australian Government initiative delivered nationally by Telstra Health and via regional trials by First Nations-led organisations to support eligible victim-survivors of intimate partner violence aged 18 years and over who are experiencing financial stress. It provides up to $5,000 per person in financial assistance (including cash and goods/services) alongside wraparound supports such as safety planning, risk and needs assessment, and referrals to specialist and community services over a support period of up to 12 weeks.
