Grant Description

The Arts and Culture Grant seeks to invigorate Launceston’s cultural landscape by providing financial support to individuals, groups and organisations at all career stages. Its purpose is to foster high-quality artistic and cultural works that reflect the city’s heritage, identity and diverse communities. With grants of up to $10,000, the program aims to grow local creative industries, create paid opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners, stimulate cultural tourism, and activate public spaces. Successful projects will demonstrate clear community benefit, alignment with the City’s Cultural Strategy 2020–2030 and Public Art Strategy 2023–2031, and a commitment to inclusive participation.
