Grant Description
The Residential Activation Fund – Round 1 is part of Queensland’s $2 billion strategy to accelerate housing supply by funding critical trunk and essential infrastructure that unlocks residential developments. With $500 million available in this initial round, the fund targets projects ready to commence, ensuring rapid activation of new housing across Queensland. A significant focus is placed on supporting regional, rural, and remote areas, with at least 50% of funding directed outside South East Queensland. The fund underpins the state’s efforts to meet growing population demands, alleviate housing shortages, and foster economic development through expedited infrastructure delivery.
