Grant Description

The Southern Highlands Symphony Orchestra’s 2025 Composition Competition invites original orchestral compositions from residents and former students of the Southern Highlands and surrounding districts. With a first prize of $3,500 and an encouragement award of $1,000, the winning work will be performed during the SHSO Concert Series in September 2025. The competition encourages accessibility, musicality, and orchestral knowledge, aiming to support emerging and established composers in the region.
