Grant Description
The Australian Flora Foundation Research Grants 2026 support original scientific research on the biology, ecology, conservation and cultivation of Australian plants. Funding is available through three programs: Malcolm Reed Grants ($20,000–$60,000 over 2–3 years), Small Grants ($5,000–$20,000 over 1–2 years), and the Ian and Janet McConachie Macadamia Conservation Grant (up to $20,000 per annum for up to three years). The program aims to improve understanding of Australian flora, strengthen conservation outcomes, and promote sustainable utilisation, with priority given to plant diversity conservation, climate change impacts, cultivation, and rare or endangered species.
