Grant Description
The National Redress Scheme, established in July 2018, provides survivors of institutional child sexual abuse with access to financial compensation, counselling, and the option of a direct personal response from responsible institutions. The scheme acknowledges the lifelong trauma and intergenerational impact of child sexual abuse, supports healing journeys, and holds institutions accountable. Survivors can apply until 30 June 2027, with payments of up to $150,000 available alongside wellbeing and psychological care services.
