Grant Description
The CH Currey Memorial Fellowship offers $20,000 annually for the writing of Australian history from original sources, with a preference for use of the State Library of NSW collections. Established in 1974 through the bequest of historian Dr Charles Herbert Currey, it supports independent and emerging researchers lacking institutional backing. Fellows are expected to prioritise the Fellowship, promote their work, present findings, and contribute to Library publications during the one-year tenure.
